A poster on Facebook announcing Little Nicky 2 on Netflix has left fans confused and hopeful for a sequel to the film where Adam Sandler plays the prince of hell. The supposed poster was shared by the page called YODA BBY ABY.
The post, which quickly went viral, shows the announcement of a movie called ‘Little Nicky Hell Takes a Vacation’, with a release planned for May. In the caption of the post, details about the production: “Adam Sandler reprises his role as the mischievous Little Nicky, now the Official Devil, who embarks on his first earthly vacation as Beelzebub, wreaking havoc in New York City.
“With a devilishly delicious blend of comedy and chaos, this sequel remains true to the original film while bringing a new twist to the underworld’s favorite troublemaker.”
Although many netizens were excited about the news, others, more attentive, noticed that it was all a joke. In fact, YODA BBY ABY usually posts fake movie announcements, and the description of the page makes it clear that their posts are not real: ‘I’m here only to eat frogs, lift stones, and be satirical. The page is 100% satire and fake news.
Although “Little Nicky 2” is not in production, the idea of a sequel has excited many people. The original film was filled with special guest appearances, and even director Quentin Tarantino appeared as a blind deacon who could see the goodness in Nicky.
